Laundry

Isn't it funny how mundane things can become pittoresque when you are on holiday? I would never dream of making a photograph of my neighbour's laundry hanging on the washingline, but in Italy I do photograph it.

  1. These images look a lot lovelier than the sight of my neighbours washing on the line - I see why they make you happy. Sometimes its the little things that can put a smile on your face.

    1. Absolutely, I love looking for the small things when I am on holiday. Of course I also take photographs of the monuments and the churches and the buildings, but small, daily things like these are the best.

      Kind regards,

  2. That is so true! When I was in Thailand I took pictures of the power lines and the roosters...things I would never photograph at home. Yours are great photos...so beautiful! Ah, Italy. Someday I'm going there....

    1. Yes, on holiday even the normal things look exotic. I photograph the strangest things when I am abroad, such like powerlines!! (chuckled at that one)

      Kind regards,
